Rustic Chic Master Bedroom
Love meeting clients who have great style! This mama was no exception. She is pregnant with her second babe and was in the middle of a huge renovation when we jumped in. We started with this rendering for inspiration on her master bedroom:
She was looking for a relaxing space with room to have a small desk and an area for rocking her sweet baby! Which by the way, did I mention she is waiting to find out the gender?! I could never!
I love how we started with such a neutral palette and added pops of color along the way! This again confirms that accessorizing is EVERYTHING! We picked up all her accessories on our shopping date. Candle, tray and pillows are all from Home Goods. And a similar headboard can be found HERE.
I have a serious obsession with Carrara marble. We have it in our bathrooms, on our coasters and in the form of a candle! I could probably keep going if my budget had no bounds. This marble side drum was also a Home Goods find! But you can find a similar one on sale for $99.99 HERE. And how about that super cute terrarium? Plants are such a great way to bring life to a space! And I'm dying to add some air plants to my casa soon!
I always LOVE placing furniture at the foot of a bed. It really finishes a space and brings in warmth. This bench was from Home Goods, but you can find a similar one HERE with free shipping, of course!
The fiddle leaf fig can be purchased HERE for just $19.99. However, I have seen them at my local Home Depot and Costco...of all places!!! And THIS mid century side chair is ON SALE now for just $111.99! What a steal! It would work great at a dinner table or desk as well!
Adding a mirror above a nightstand just screams "POSH"! The large nightstand mirrors can be found HERE for just $29.99. Kirkland's is by far my fave spot for wall accents and mirrors! Check them out! The nightstands are a steal at $250 each! Keep in mind, it's important to be proportional when it comes to your nightstands. Often times I see a Queen or King size bed with little teeny-tiny nightstands. That's a no-no! I typically search for a chest style nightstand because they tend to be larger in size.
It was an absolute pleasure working with this mama. I love how we collaborated with some existing pieces to stay on budget and create a chic and rustic space! Click HERE for more info on in-home consultations!
