4TH OF JULY PITCHER COCKTAIL

Updated: Dec 9, 2022

Are you ready for the 4th of July? I have the perfect cocktail recipe for you! It's so delicious and you won't believe how simple these ingredients are! We make it in pitchers every year and you can even make it the day before. I basically consider it juicing, it's totally "healthy" and the best refreshing sipper for a day out in the sun! Guilt free!

Here is everything you need and all the steps to make it...

Ingredients

  1. Vodka to taste, Tito's is my fave or, I won't lie Costco's French Vodka too!

  2. 2 large cucumbers

  3. 1 Medium sized SEEDLESS watermelon

  4. 6 limes

  5. Ice

When it comes to cocktails I feel like everyone has their own personal preference. You will never find me using Sweet and Sour or any sort of artificial ingredient. I'm a cocktail snob and I embrace it. Every cocktail I make is typically composed of fresh fruit and then my spirit of choice. This particular cocktail has become a tradition for every summer holiday! Everyone loves it and it keeps for a few days in the fridge if you want to keep the party going or invite the neighbors over ;). With that said, I'm not the master calculator on pitcher cocktails. I really mix it up and then adjust as I go, I know that scares some people. But I promise, you can't screw this one up! It is so simple!!!

Steps:

  1. Prep a large drink dispenser

  2. Chop up your watermelon and juice it and pour into the dispenser

  3. Peel cucumbers and juice them and pour into dispenser

  4. Squeeze 4 limes into drink dispenser

  5. Mix it all together

  6. Add vodka to taste, I typically use about 1/2-3/4 of a large Costco vodka.

  7. Refrigerate

  8. Add ice to dispenser prior to serving

  9. Slice remaining 2 limes for garnish.

  10. You can dehydrate your lime slices if you want to elevate your cocktail game!

  11. Garnish with mint leaves and lime slice

Mocktail Option:

I love to set-up a cocktail station with all the garnishes and extra vodka for those who prefer things a little stronger. I also always have bottle of Pellegrino if others prefer to add a little bubbly to top off the cocktail. You can also opt to make it a mocktail for all ages to enjoy and then have a shot glass with vodka for those that prefer a cocktail!

Happy 4th! And report back if you gave it a shot! I promise you will not be disappointed! You can find more cocktail recipes on my Instagram highlights HERE.
